An engaging body of work that presents a painterly countenance through layers of patterning and abstracted texture.
‘Organ Pageant’ draws influence from vintage women and japanese culture and incorporates drawings, paintings and sculptures based on anatomy and organs, where her distinctive palette and illustrative style can shift amongst detailed shape and blocked out space.
Kitty Hortons work was seen at our 1 Year ‘Hard Cover No Jacket’, so for all you regulars it should be familiar.
