The call is now out to all talented creatives to design their own unique boardshort art and submit it online to be chosen as part of the Rip Curl Boardshort Collective.

Paint, draw, manipulate, shoot, you have complete creative freedom to create the boardshorts you’ve always wanted.

Boardshorts selected to join the Collective will be made for the artist to keep, displayed in the gallery on the live website and will also be part of a first ever exhibition of The Collective.

If a design isn’t one of those initially chosen for the Collective, it could still be a good chance for inclusion as a Wildcard entry, where online votes pick the final members of the Collective”
