Live Lanes - art & about

The City of Sydney has over 100 small laneways, wedged between high rise buildings and busy streets. At present functioning mostly as shortcuts, the City believes they could become enticing places for outdoor dining, entertainment and art displays - places to escape to at lunch-time or relax after work. As a test run, three lanes will be rejuvenated during Art & About. At night-time, Bulletin Place will become a buzzing laneway bar. Take a walk to the other end of town to check out the art at Albion Place where 30 works by cutting edge artists will line the walls. On your way there, have a look at Temperance Lane which will be awash with coloured lighting
