After sharing a building with infamous Sydney karaoke den Ding Dong Dang’s for 3 years Gaffa has moved to the big end of town with new 3 story premises at 281 Clarence Street in the CBD. Gaffa now houses 4 gallery spaces, the largest jewellery studio in Australia, a jewellery store, an industrial design project space and a café. Gaffa director Kelly Robson said she is thrilled by the move and is planning an innovative program for 2010. She says, “Gaffa has always been dedicated to supporting cross-platform collaboration across design and the visual arts and this new significantly larger site will bring more artists not only together but to new and larger audiences.”
