As a designer and regular user of Adobe products, it was a great opportunity for designers and developers to rub shoulders and try to see things from each other’s point of view. As presenter Mark Schultz pointed out “no one is ever trained to use Facebook. Designers and developers need to work together to make the user experience intuitive”. Defining the essence of Australia’s skateboard culture, TIC TACO : A photographic exhibition by Justin Barnwell, officially kick-starts a week of skateboard mayhem at Beach Burrito, Bondi Beach, with the exhibition opening from 6pm on Wednesday 17th February and will be on display until Sunday 28th February, 2010.

This exhibition taking place from the 24th of to the 7th of March is curated by Sarah King. It toys with the concept of a museum store selling Australian only design, which does not really have a museum attached to it, yet presents the work in a museum like context. It aims to encompass as much good Australian design as possible, across all levels of production, from handmade work to pieces in production by local and European manufacturers – and cover all types of design; furniture, objects, graphics, architecture, craft, etc.
