Spring Awakening is the rock musical theatre adaptation of Frühlings Erwachen a play written by Frank Wedekind in 1891. Widely slammed by German public and oft banned, Wedekind’s masterpiece was sub-titled A Children’s Tragedy and points an accusatory finger at the oppressive social climate of the time giving rise to a simmering, sexual and violent confusion in young people. Toast Print, the first Australian online platform connecting commercial printers and designer print buyers, is officially launched today. The web startup, founded by web savvy brothers Jonathan and Andrew Chak, offers designers a web application to streamline the process of finding the right printer, better organize print jobs, as well as easily compare printers and quotations. Toast Print draws on Web2.0 community concepts where designers are encouraged to provide feedback and ratings that contribute towards the merit of printers they have done business with.

The team at Eskimo showed they could handle the heat when asked to participate in a calendar entitled Coroborree 2010, created by Landor.
The brief was to create an image that numerically depicts one month of the year. With their month being November, Eskimo teamed up with photographer David McKelvey and created a pair of Pirelli-esque pins (“Legs 11”) to reinforce the 11th month. Read more about Eskimos Legs 11 →
