Thankfully the weather had cleared up from the morning so TwoFlatWhites and I headed to the Pyrmont bridge to check out Chalk the Walk. The first thing that we noticed was the wind, it was bloody windy, and everyone was rugged up (except for a few lunatics). Chalk and gale force winds don’t really mix well, but the artists who had braved the elements seemed a happy enough bunch, a few of them filling us in on what they were drawing and how the day was panning out, and hopefully in the next few weeks we will bring you an interview with one or two of them. The crowd was a mixed bunch of young families, couples and older adults, and it seemed everyone had a camera and was taking pictures (myself included) and the overall vibe was a good one. If you missed out this year, don’t miss out the next chalk the walk as its well worth the trip.
