The AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE FAIR and the co-located DECORATION + DESIGN Sydney will return to the Sydney Exhibition Centre from 2-4 February 2011. Featuring the latest furniture and furnishing designs from more than 200 Australian and international exhibitors, the fair will forecast trends, unearth emerging talent and hear insights from international opinion-leaders in design.

Returning to this year’s fair is the highly acclaimed The Edge – Design & Innovation Showcase, which has earned a reputation for attracting Australia’s next wave of design talent. The Showcase will include products in Commercial, Concept, Student and Green categories with entries from across Australia.

The International Industry Seminar Series will again be a key drawcard, and this year’s world class line up will see colour guru Janice Lindsay from Pink Color & Design (Canada), textile queen Mary Shaw from Sequana (France) and Genty Marshall from Melbourne’s New Black Global Trends take to the stage. Genty Marshall will also curate a feature area within DECORATION + DESIGN Sydney, Australia’s leading interior products Trade Fair.

Returning in 2011 is HOTEL + HOSPITALITY Furnishings, showcasing the latest furniture innovations and trends to hit the hotel, motel, club and restaurant sectors. 2011 will also debut FLOORING AND FINISHINGS in association with the Australian Timber and Flooring Association, which will join the Fair in the Exhibition Centre.

The 2011 AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE FAIR is a key event in the Asia Pacific calendar and will attract thousands of industry representatives from Australia and overseas, including furniture and furnishings retailers, architects, interior decorators, interior designers and stylists.
