2012 marks 10 years for Semi-Permanent. Over the past decade they have been bringing together some of the best creatives in graphic design, film, fine art, illustration, web design, interaction design, photography, visual effects, animation, graffiti, motion graphics, stop motion, and architecture and more to speak to captivated audiences. Some of the stats include; 33 events in 8 cities in 5 countries; over 200 speakers, over 200,000 attendees, 15 event books, 38 exhibitions, 11 installations and 33 after parties. And there’s no sign of the guys behind Semi-P slowing down.
The event in Sydney was top-notch as always, adding an extra 4 speakers to the line-up (16 in total), providing plenty of inspiration to the punters. Perhaps the biggest highlight was the Google+ Hangout with Roman Coppola and his friends (including a leopard…seriously). Semi-P has also been getting more interactive each year with audience members submitting questions to speakers via email, mobile or Twitter. This year saw Instagram added to the interactive party. Semi-Permanent moves to Auckland, NZ next before heading back to Brisbane and Melbourne later in the year. Get all the speaker info, dates and ticket info at: semipermanent.com
