As part of Art Month this March, ESP Gallery will be hosting the exhibition of a generation. Marrickville X presents the work of over 25 Generation X artists, giving a snapshot into the creative expressions of a generation who have been labelled as “young people, seemingly without identity, who face an uncertain, ill-defined (and perhaps hostile) future”. John Ulrich “Introduction: Generation X, A (Sub)cultural Genealogy”

Recurring themes of the media, protest, television and object fetishisation abound as well as post post modern expressions of identity and crisis.

Exhibition continues until 20 March.
