How about taking a glimpse into the future?

The 2012 graduate Industrial Design Exhibition will showcase ways we might live, work and play in the near future.

Spark your imagination with concepts in transport, furniture, object, interactive, inclusive and sustainable design proposed by up and coming creatives.

Highlights include a belt that uses touch to ‘see’ distance, an app that shares your wardrobe with friends, gesture controlled headphones, a driverless vehicle and an installation that encourages urban plant growth.

The public are invited to join the students for the opening night and exhibition.

The opening night kicks off at 6pm on the 8th of November at level 5, 440 Elizabeth Street.

Come along to be surrounded by inspiring examples of industrial design and mingle with new and established members of Australia’s design scene, all to a backdrop of sweet, spring tunes.

The exhibition runs from the 8th of November to the 14th November, during business hours.

The Industrial Design Graduate Exhibition is part of the RMIT Creative Festival, a celebration of exhibitions, screenings, performances, panel discussions and events from RMIT’s creative disciplines.
