‘Alluvia’ is an exhibition of an entirely new and original kaleidoscopic collection of illustrations in ink, charcoal, pastels and paints on paper by Sydney artist, Matt Huynh.
‘Alluvia’ refers to the earth washed down a body of flowing water, sometimes resulting in the formation of a fan at the base of deep slopes.
When this collected earth has been found at the base of Martian craters, they are indicative of water’s presence and suggestive of proof of life.
To celebrate the release of this series, a print folio release and book will be released for purchase from the Paper Mill Gallery.
